About Stork

When I (Liisa) was preparing for the arrival of my first child, I did a lot of what I love to do, shopping. I looked all over my hometown, Ottawa, only to be disappointed in the selection of things for my baby. So, during my son Dexter’s first year, I scoured the world from my computer looking for the best, most unique, most healthy, most stylish, and most innovative products. I found lots of great things, lots of them from right here in Canada, and many of them made by other moms.

I didn’t want to put my newfound expertise to waste. I decided to bring these great products to Ottawa, to other Canadians, and to website visitors from all over North America and the world.  I turned a fun hobby into a business, Stork!
